Extrusion Process

Extrusion is a process used to create objects of a fixed cross-sectional profile. A material is pushed through a die of the desired cross-section. The shape of the cross-sections can be solid round, rectangular, to T shapes, L shapes and Tubes etc. Extrusion is done by squeezing the raw material in a die by using a mechanical or hydraulic press.

US-RAPID provides services for extrusion prototype and low volume production for aluminum and silicone/rubber parts. Also we can do post machining , like punching , drilling and slotting surface finish, which can better control the tolerance to meet your requirements.
